Financial Disclosure Checklist

In Colorado, disclosure is adequate when each party receives a reasonably accurate description and good-faith estimate of value of the other party's property, liabilities and income (C.R.S. § 14-2-309(4)). Colorado did not adopt a written waiver of disclosure, so full disclosure is the safe course. Check off each item as you gather it.

ServiceShield

Exclusively for Colorado Veterans & Active Duty

ServiceShield is The Longmont Law Firm's private program for Colorado U.S. military veterans and active-duty servicemembers. Military life raises its own marital agreement questions: deployment, military retirement, the Survivor Benefit Plan, VA benefits and moves between duty stations. Members are verified by DD-214 or a DoD service status check, and member benefits are shared only inside the secure ServiceShield portal.
